FRESDEVAL FILMS is a Spanish production company for the creation of documentaries and feature films, with a determined vocation for high-artistic-quality projects of up-coming talents, which involve a honest point of view on human, social and cultural matters.
Created in 2000 at Barcelona by Jaime Rosales and José Mª de Orbe, the company started its activities in 2001 with the incorporation of María José Díez Álvarez, as Head of the Production Office in Madrid. Also from 2001, FRESDEVAL FILMS has entered the Independent Catalonian Producers Association (A.P.I.C) and the Spanish Federation of Audiovisual Producers (F.A.P.A.E.) in order to consolidate itself as an independent production company into the national and international film industry.
Since that time, FRESDEVAL FILMS has developed an unusual career into the Spanish film production landscape, getting a place as a young company created by filmmakers with new ideas, a solid education and proved training and talent.
After beginning his career as a screenwriter for film and television, Jaime Rosales received a grant to attend the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. From there, he went on to study at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Sydney.
After his acclaimed features LAS HORAS DEL DÍA and SOLITARY FRAGMENTS, he is currently working on TIRO EN LA CABEZA, his last project.
